Zechariah 4:6 says it is not by might (organization), not by power (numbers), but by my Spirit saith the Lord of hosts. We can reach out today to save the world in which we live, but it will never be done by organizational strength or even strength in numbers, but by the Spirit. Sincere and dedicated people whose hearts are fully turned to Him.
Zechariah 4:6
April 21st, 2010For This Cause
March 31st, 2010Here we are, resurrection Sunday this week. Seems like time is flying. Heard great reports from the Refuel Youth camp. Thank you everyone who helped out in any way, you made a huge difference in the life of so many youth. Make sure to watch the calendar there are many great things coming up.
John 18:37 Pilate therefore said to Him, “Are You a king then?” Jesus answered, “You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth.
Jesus says the Cause is that His life would be a witness to the truth. Each one of us has a cause, and just as Jesus our lives should bear witness of the truth. Our attitude, mouth, marriage, kids, friendships, where ever we are and whatever we are called to do our lives should bear witness of Jesus. There is more to our lives then self. I encourage you to spend some time with Him this week, and strengthen the cause for which you are here. Have a great week. Love to hear from you.
SLOTHFULNESS
March 2nd, 2010Proverbs 18:9 says He who is slothful in his work is a brother to him who is a great destroyer. God expects us to be faithful and diligent with the gift of life He has given us. Not to do as little as possible, but to do our best. Because slothfulness will destroy what could have been accomplished, causing us to lose both time and opportunity. Have a great week we love to hear back from you, and don’t let slothfulness come in and destroy or steal.
Trust
February 15th, 2010Good morning, enjoyed the comments that were left. Please feel free to blog in comments, prayer request, praise reports, or whatever you would like we love hearing from you.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Anytime we are leaning we are off balance, we are not standing solid. Thats what happens when we put our understanding above God. He says trust Him. To know all the whys, the what ifs, and the how comes, requires no trust. We don’t have to know all the details before we trust Him. To trust God is to be obedient to His word no matter what the situation. I promise you this there will never be a time that we know more or have better understanding than God. Spend time in the word of God and in prayer hearing His voice, be obedient and Trust Him.
Be blessed and have a great week.
Shine
January 20th, 2010Hello everyone, hope your new year is going well.
We are just finishing up with the 21 day fast. We have already heard many great breakthroughs that happened for a lot of people. We would love to hear how the fast went for you. Blog us back and let us know.
Matthew 5:16 says Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
How many of you know its pretty easy to use words to paint an image. Notice it does not say they will see the image we paint with our words. No, it says they will SEE our good WORKS. People see our character, they see how we live our lives. Our relationship with the Lord is more than knowing all the right words its a lifestyle. It always benefits us to take a true look at our lives, do our lives look like the word of God. Do people know we are christians by watching our lives or by what we tell them.
Have a great week, we would love to hear from you.
HAPPY NEW YEAR
January 3rd, 2010Wow, here we are at another new year. The start of a new year seems to always present the opportunity of new year resolutions, new goals, and new direction, its the beginning of a new year lets start fresh. Often the reason for wanting the new is because there is something in the old that we would like to bring a change to. It is always good to reconize what needs to be changed, but the how is the important part. The how will determine success or failure. I encourage most importantly to start out in prayer and study of the word. Seek the Lord earnestly for this next year. Because, if we are making the plan, the desision, or choosing our direction, than self is on the throne instead of God. We can love God and desire to know God, but if we are not making room for Him on a daily bases, than the direction for our lives falls to us. We are living in very uncertain times, and as for me there is not a chance that I want to trust the direction of my life and my families life to self.
Pro. 3:5 Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart, lean not on your own understanding; In ALL your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.
We can trust Him, lets give Him our all and just watch what happens. Make room for Him daily, earnestly seek Him, and it will be the best year yet. Happy New Year!!!
Is it the swift who always win the race?
November 30th, 2009Hello, hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Ours was a super fun day, just ate entirely to much food.
Sometimes we can look at people and circumstances around us and measure success by what we see or by what the world measures success. The danger in doing this will be that the battle will always belong to the strong, the beautiful, the brilliant, the rich. This will cause us to lose heart or limit who we can be or what we can accomplish before we even get started. We will see our lives through the measuring stick of the world instead of through the word of God. And we will accomplish what we can see.
Ecclesiastes 9:11 The race is not to the swift, Nor the battle to the strong. Nor bread to the wise, Nor riches to men of understanding, Nor favor to men of skill; But time and chance happen to them all.
This scripture gives me great hope. God forgot no one and will make sure that time and chance is given to each of us. It is our responsibility not to miss the opportunity brought to us. The key to this is found one scripture up in verse 10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might. Also look what Colossians 3:23-24 says, Whatever you do, do it heartily as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. Here’s the deal, God never created us to live our lives outside of Him, but to live life through Him. Here is our part, do life with all our might and heartily as unto the Lord. When we have done our all we leave the rest to God. Just like Ecclesiastes says, the highest may not always have success and the lowest despair, but that we would all live in a humble dependence upon God. As I look throughout the word of God the battle was not won by the great, but by a heart that was loyal and dependent upon God. That had full understanding in their own strength they could accomplish little, but with God all things were possible.
My challenge this week, bring some discipline to our lives. Throw out compromise and half-heartiness and lets give our all because remember Gods promises time and chance happen to us all. Have a great week.

Holiday Season
November 23rd, 2009Here we are at the beginning of another holiday season. As for me personally I really like this time of year, I enjoy the holiday season. But for many the holiday season is not a joy. The hustle bustle, the financial strain, loneliness, etc. can make the holidays burdensome. I encourage you not to skim over but take your time and read these next verses with an open heart.
1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 (Amplified)
4-Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily. 5-It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it (it pays no attention to a suffered wrong). 6-It doesnot rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail. 7-Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, it hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything (without weakening). 8-Love never fails (never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to and end).
Many things in life will fail, the Love of God will never be one of them. Each one of us value, and appreciate this kind of love when it is given to us. I challenge you this holiday season give this kind of love (God’s Love) to the people around and watch what happens. Remember God’s love never fails. Have the best Thanksgiving yet.
Opportunity For Today
November 14th, 2009Psalm 118:24 says This is the day that the Lord has brought about; we will rejoice an be glad in it.
God does nothing without purpose or reason. Within each day there is opportunity, there is direction, there is purpose, there is provision and blessing. Sometimes our lives can get so routine, same old stuff different day we begin to expect nothing but the normal. I encourage you to look to God everyday, make room for Him in your life everyday. As we do we will have eyes to see and ears to hear. God brought this day about and we don’t want to miss anything He is doing. Have a great week. Remember this is the very day God acted, let us celebrate and be festive.
